The deal.

1 — Who runs this

Krex is operated by the Krex team. There’s no parent company. If you want a human, email hi@krex.space.

2 — Access

Krex is invite-only. You access it with a 6-digit code given to you by an existing user, bound to your name. The code is good for up to two devices. Sharing it locks you out the next time someone signs in from a third device.

We can revoke any code at any time, for any reason, with or without warning. Codes used for abuse get revoked first and explained later.

3 — What you can do with it

Anything you’d do with a chatbot: ask questions, draft writing, search the web, run code, hook up your own Gmail/Notion/whatever via connectors. Krex is opinionated and will tell you when you’re wrong. That’s a feature.

4 — What you can’t

• Use Krex to generate, distribute, or coordinate content that is illegal in Pakistan.
• Use Krex to harass or impersonate a real person.
• Scrape, mirror, or wrap the API for resale.
• Reverse-engineer your way past rate limits, the daily token cap, or the invite gate.
• Share your access code. Each code = one person.

Most of these are obvious. We list them so we have something to point at if it ever matters.

5 — Your content

You own everything you type into Krex. We need a narrow licence to do the basic mechanics of the service — store your chats, render them back to you, ship the relevant ones to the model providers when you send a message. That licence ends the moment you delete the chat or the account.

We don’t train any model on your chats. The model providers don’t either, under their API terms.

6 — Krex’s content

Replies Krex produces are generated by AI models and may be wrong, out of date, biased, or just confidently bad. Don’t use them as medical, legal, or financial advice without a real human checking. We take no responsibility for decisions you make based on a Krex reply.

7 — Service availability

Krex is offered “as-is” and “as-available.” We’ll do our best to keep it up but make no uptime promises. If a model provider goes down, Krex goes down with it for the duration.

8 — Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Krex team isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If Krex breaks and you lose your unfinished essay because you didn’t save it elsewhere — sorry, but that’s on you.

9 — Changes

We can update these terms. Material changes get a notice in the app. Continuing to use Krex after a change means you accept it.

10 — Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute that can’t be sorted by emailing hi@krex.space goes to the courts of Pakistan.
